Hiding status bar icon of quick bar is the most request feature. The answer in short is NO. However, we recently support many ways to customize ugly, static fix status bar icon for each quick bar, including make it invisible. Here are how you can do it:

1. Select "transparent" icon in "Status Bar" in Design tab while editing a quick bar
   
2. Toggle reverse quick bar order in order to resort status bar icon (see app's settings).

PS: On-going notification bar may help you re order quick bar when notification area expanded.
